Dr Krystyna de Lange graduated from the University of Queensland medical school in 2011. She spent four years working in several major Brisbane Hospitals focusing on the areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics before entering General Practice. Krystyna enjoys all areas of General Practice and being able to care for patients across the lifespan but has a special interest in the areas of women's and children's health. She has special training in contraception including the insertion and removal of both Implanon subdermal implant and Mirena intra-uterine device. She enjoys helping women and their partners navigate the journey through pregnancy and beyond and can help with care before, during and after pregnancy.
Krystyna is committed to continuing professional education having completed her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG), Diploma of Child Health (DCH) and Certificate in Emergency Medicine (EMC). She regularly attends educational activities to keep up to date with the latest medical research and evidence.
In her spare time Krystyna enjoys travel, exercise and checking out the best of Brisbane's cafe scene. She recently became mum to a baby boy and so park dates, story time and nursery rhymes have also become a regular past time.
Krystyna is passionate about delivering holistic patient-centred care and providing the best possible experience of health care for patients and their families across the lifespan.
