Dr Geoffrey Bennett

Dr Geoffrey Bennett initially completed a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Anatomy, before graduating with his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2001. As a Queensland Health Rural Scholarship holder, Dr Bennett worked for several years in regional and rural hospital and General Practice settings. During this time, Dr Bennett completed residencies in Paediatrics, which developed his interest in Child Health. He obtained his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2008. Since 2009, Dr Bennett has been located on the Sunshine Coast, primarily practicing in Child and Adolescent Health. He has been a supervisor and examiner for GP Registrars.

Dr Bennett has special interest in child and adolescent health and has extensive experience supporting families with ADHD and developmental assessments. He's a great first point of contact if you're unsure whether your child may need an evaluation.

Dr Geoffrey Bennett offers bulk-billed appointments for children aged 12 months and under.

Dr Geoffrey Bennett is a highly experienced and compassionate practitioner who is always happy to provide comprehensive care and support to young families.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and two adult children. In his spare time, Dr Bennett likes reading, swimming, and the occasional skiing holiday.
