Care for urgent but non-life-threatening health conditions

Oxley Medicare Urgent Care Clinic provides timely care for illnesses or injuries that need same-day attention but are not a life-threatening or emergency situation.

You do not need an appointment or referral. You can walk in and wait to be seen by our highly-trained doctors and nurses for free, bulk billed urgent health care.

Our Urgent Care Clinic is situated within Growlife Medical Oxley, at Canossa Hospital. No appointment is required - simply check in with reception upon arrival. Please note that patients are seen in order of priority.

Please note: We use a ‘triage’ system to decide which patients need to see a doctor or nurse first. People with the most serious conditions may be seen before others who have been waiting longer, or those who have an appointment.

FAQs

  • What is the wait time to see a doctor?

Because patients are seen in order of priority (not by order of arrival), rest assured your healthcare needs will be addressed in a timely manner. However please note that there may be a wait if a more urgent health issue arises.

If we have a sudden influx of patients, or it is approaching closing time and you haven't yet been seen by the doctor, we may need to direct you to an alternative health service.

  • Is Oxley Medicare Urgent Care Clinic a bulk-billing clinic?

Yes, we provide bulk-billing services to all patients.

  • What urgent conditions do you treat?
