Dr Lok Tung Lee

After growing up on the Gold Coast, Dr Lok Tung Lee completed both a medical degree and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland. She has spent four years working in Queensland Health across a wide range of specialties but spent a dedicated year as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology doctor at Redcliffe Hospital before making the change to General Practice. 

Tung loves establishing long-term therapeutic relationships with her patients and believes this is the best way to deliver holistic care to optimise her patient’s health. She is trained in IUD insertions and removals and is passionate about chronic disease management, minor procedures and getting to know patients at all stages of life. 

In her spare time, Tung enjoys curling up with a good book and a cup of tea. Although she tends to be a homebody, she does enjoy the great outdoors and can never stay away from the ocean or nature trails for too long. She remains an enthusiastic (if not particularly proficient) musician and often plays violin in the Queensland Medical Orchestra and has recently also attempted to pick up bass guitar.
