Dr Nishari Wijewardena

Dr Nishari has 15 years' experience as a GP. She graduated with honours from the University of Tasmania in 2006. After doing her hospital and GP training in Wollongong, NSW, Nishari gained her fellowship in general practice in 2012. She has also completed a Masters degree in Public Health. Nishari has worked in general practice in Cairns, QLD for 13 years before moving to Brisbane.

Dr Nishari has special interests in chronic disease management, family medicine, antenatal (pregnancy) care, paediatrics and aged care. Nishari is very passionate about providing thorough clinical care with a very caring approach. In her spare time, Nishari loves to spend time with her family exploring the outdoors and camping.
