
Nicholas Horvath
Provisional Psychologist
Nicholas is a provisional psychologist completing his Master’s of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland. He has a background in community services, previously working as a social worker in inpatient settings and as a recovery clinician in the community. These roles fostered his commitment to holistic, person-centred care.
Nicholas is particularly interested in trauma-informed care, mood and anxiety disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and IDD. He has experience conducting assessments, including ADHD, cognitive, and functional capacity evaluations.
Outside of work, Nicholas coaches youth basketball and is a proud father of three. He is passionate about empowering others and creating supportive, affirming spaces for clients.
Nicholas offers comprehensive assessments to support diagnosis, school support, or NDIS applications, including:
- ADHD assessments
- Cognitive functioning assessments (IQ, learning concerns, Intellectual Developmental Disorder)
- Adaptive functioning assessments (daily life skills, independence)
