Dr Jess Phillips-Yelland is a GP with a special interest in women's health, holding the DRANZCOG Advanced Diploma and also the Diploma of Child Health. Since graduating from medical school in 2012, she spent 4 years working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before deciding to pursue a career in General Practice. Jess spent 3 years in the rural town of Kingaroy, where she completed her Rural General Practice training in 2022, working between GP and the rural hospital. 

Now having moved back to Brisbane, Jess is passionate about women’s health and reproductive rights and holds a special interest in fertility issues, complex contraception issues, menopause management and sexual health as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. Dr Jess offers antenatal shared care through Mater Hospital, Implanon and IUD insertions and removals, iron infusions and skin excisions. 

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her Cavoodle Sien
