Dr Brown graduated from Bond University in 2017 with a Defence University Sponsorship through the Royal
Australian Air Force. During his two years as a resident, he spent time at the Princess Alexandra Hospital,
completing his paediatric time at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and a rural stint at Gladstone Base
Hospital. On completion of his residency years, he is a full time Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Air
Force, posted to RAAF Base Amberley, whilst also completing his General Practice Registrar training at Growlife Medical.
Dr Brown has a particular interest in aviation medicine and is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME), military medicine, mental health, men’s health and
chronic medicine. He also enjoys teaching medical students and is an Associate Lecturer at the University of
Queensland and an Honorary Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Bond University.
In his spare time, Dr Brown enjoys advocacy work, running, squash, scuba diving and involving himself in the
Queensland Japanese community. He can also consult in Japanese when required.
Dr Brown operates out of our Sherwood Medical Centre and Highgate Hill Medical Centre.
