Sessions: The course consists of 4 sessions which run on a fortnightly basis. PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR COMPLETION OF THE COURSE AND TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE ALL FOUR SESSIONS NEED TO BE ATTENDED.

Cost: $360 per person, ( partner $300) . The discounted partner rate also applies if the partner attends a Circle of Security™ course with us at a later date.
Who should attend: All p arents and carers of children aged 0-1 2 years old. No referral needed.

- This course is for parents only, however, parents and carers with babies under 12 months are welcome.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule subject to QLD Health regulations. If we need to reschedule due to changes in regulations we will refund fees.
Parenting can be hard work, by attending this four-week abbreviated program, Circle of Security™ will help you make sense of what your child needs and how you can meet those needs to create a happier more loving relationship with your child.
Previous parents have said they can now understand their children’s emotional needs a nd the course gave them the confidence to create a deeper emotional connection with their children.
Learning Objectives of the Training:
•Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs
•Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
•Enhance the development of your child's self esteem
•Honour your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure
Please note:
It is recommended that caregivers arrange childcare for their children due to the nature of the therapeutic work covered. Parents/caregivers with babies in arms or aged 12 months or younger are welcome.
The programme is also available for free during business hours through your local Child Health by calling 1300 366 039. No content is lost by completing this after hours weekend programme.
Parents/caregivers who require more intensive support, where group dynamics might be impacted, who are currently in crisis, experiencing severe mental health or substance abuse issues are also recommended to be referred externally to receive other, more appropriate, support services.
